The Kashmir region has been an object of dispute between India and Pakistan for decades. It’s also a place where foreign policy makers worry that a major war could break out. BBC Correspondent Andrew Whitehead knows far more about the region than most people. He was a New-Delhi based reporter for four years and is the author of “A Mission to Kashmir.” He is a former Knight-Wallace fellow at the University of Michigan. He’s back to deliver the annual Graham Hovey lecture today. Michigan Radio’s Jack Lessenberry spoke with him.
