The 2004 election was pretty darn exciting, if you ask me! I stayed up all night watching the results come in, and then cried myself to sleep...

I volunteered at the Dems headquarters in my town, and we had a brick thrown through our window, with a threatening message attached. Several of our volunteers marched in a local parade, where they were hissed and booed at, and eventually physically attacked.

Maybe I just lived in an interesting place at the time, but I certainly found '04 to be exciting, if not utterly frightening!
