Political Scientists have known for a long time that religion plays a role in who we elect as President. Researchers at Calvin College have just finished a new study of political preferences among religious denominations. Corwin Smidt is director of the Henry Institute for the Study of Christianity and Politics at Calvin College. Michigan Radio’s Jack Lessenberry spoke with him.
