Ninety-one years ago, a Michigan newspaper publisher and his wife donated ninety acres of lakefront property to Benton Harbor. The land was turned into a park that was meant to remain open to the public. Now, however, developers want to take twenty-two acres of the Jean Klock Park and turn it into a world-class golf course.
