Earlier this year, Michigan established a January 15 primary. The hope was to have more influence on both parties’ presidential nomination process than before. But the Democratic candidates said they wouldn’t participate; the National Republican Party wasn’t happy either -- and now a judge has ruled the whole thing unconstitutional. So where do we go from here? Michigan Radio’s Jack Lessenberry spoke with Bill Ballenger about the situation. Ballenger is a longtime political pundit.
