It’s been hard for many in the auto industry to take seriously the idea that Kirk Kerkorian, a man who made most of his money in Las Vegas resorts, could ever gain major leverage over General Motors. Yet Allan Sloan, Wall Street Editor for Newsweek, says we are all underestimating him. Michigan Radio’s Jack Lessenberry spoke with Sloan about why he thinks Kerkorian can easily hold his own and slug it out with General Motors for some time to come.
