Interview: Kathy Barks Hoffman - 9/24/07

Unless a deal is reached on balancing the budget, large parts of state government will be shut down a week from today. The House failed to pass an income tax hike last week so the legislature met yesterday in a rare Sunday night session. Michigan Radio’s Jack Lessenberry spoke Kathy Barks Hoffman about whether the legislature is making any progress. Hoffman is Lansing bureau chief of the Associated Press.
