Interview: Bill Rustem - 7/16/07

Less than three months from now, Michigan’s new fiscal year begins, the year will start with a budget with a nearly two billion dollar deficit. The legislature hasn’t proposed a way to deal with that deficit yet.  Tomorrow, they are scheduled to return from a nearly two-week vacation. Michigan Radio’s Jack Lessenberry spoke with Bill Rustem about what might happen.  Rustem is a former state government official and now runs Public Sector Consultants.
