The National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University has attracted research scientists from all over the world. But the nuclear science community says that to remain competitive, MSU needs a new $500 million isotope science facility. Konrad Gelbke is a professor of physics and the director of the cyclotron lab. Michigan Radio’s Jack Lessenberry spoke with him.
