The Great Lakes hold a fifth of all the fresh water on the planet -- a planet that doesn’t have nearly enough fresh water to go around. Peter Annin, a former environmental writer for Newsweek Magazine, thinks we better be prepared to defend the lakes. That’s what his new book, The Great Lakes Water Wars, is about.
