A petition drive this spring easily collected enough signatures to put an initiative on the November ballot calling for the repeal of Michigan’s Single Business Tax. Its repeal would be effective at the end of next year. But the state legislature has the option to take act before the voters get their say. Michigan Radio’s Jack Lessenberry spoke to Ken Sikkema about the SBT. He is the majority leader in the Michigan Senate.
